Welcome to the Expression of Self Newsletter!! Hi again, from Sheryl and Tom! I would like to start this newsletter with a big THANK YOU to everyone who answered my request from the last newsletter. I asked everyone to critique the web site and send me their thoughts and ideas. I received many responses, all with very constructive ideas and insights. Because of your ideas and insights, big changes are occurring with the web site. A new shopping cart will be added soon to make ordering your products easier. The home page has been changed a bit in order to have a faster download time, however, I am still working on making it easier to read. Products that are more "male oriented" will be added. New products are always being sought to add to the collection. If you, or someone you know, is making a specialty item that you would like to sell on the web site, please write to me at thoughts@expressionofself.com. Please feel free to forward this newsletter on to others. We are trying to expand our circle of friends and are asking your help in doing this. And again: any honest, constructive feedback is always welcome. The Wands page is very interesting! Many beautiful things can be found here. These products are all handmade in the USA. Angelsphere and Goddess are very beautiful! They can be worn as a pendant or used as a wand. (I am never without a crystal around my neck and in my pocket). The crystal earrings are simple but fabulous. Take your choice of silver or gold - or mix and match. For a limited time, you will receive a free gift with all orders of $50 or more. The gift consists of a small wood and brass box with a pendulum hidden inside. Pendulums will be the next product added to the web site. Each box is slightly different and the pendulums have different stones and different cuts. So, on a personal note... We just got back from our "separate" vacations. We actually went to the airport together and then went on separate flights and then our flights came in at the same time when we got home. Tom went on a Caribbean cruise and had a wonderful time. He was able to go scuba diving and white water rafting and has some beautiful video for his next project. I also had a great time in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area. I stayed with my beautiful soul sister, Christine, and we did all kinds of fun things! I had my first acupuncture experience, which I liked very much. I am not sure if I would exactly call it "fun" - but it was very helpful. We attended a full moon ceremony on the beach in Boca Raton. There was drumming and dancing. It was quite windy that night, but it created such magnificent waves with the full moon shining on them. It was very beautiful!! We went to a store that specializes in tea cup puppies. They were so adorable and I fell in love with every one of them. I did not buy one though, because I have a cat named Panther, a turtle named Izzadora and 2 fish. (When I got home, I received a phone call from a friend who had a cat named Muffin. She said that they could not keep her and asked if we would take her. So, now we have 2 cats - good thing I did not bring home a puppy). We also drove to Key West to meet with Tom's cruise ship for their 7 hour shore excursion. We had a lot of fun discovering the island and enjoying the wonderful food.The night Christine and I spent there was a lot of fun. We sat at a tiki bar, enjoying a margarita, by the pool overlooking the ocean when I received a phone call from home telling me there was 10" of snow on the ground. That was pretty fun knowing that I in a very warm place while it was very cold at home. Although now that I am back home, it is not quite so amusing. I went to a lot of stores and talked to a lot of people about the web store, as well as the Mach 1 Audio product line (which can be found on the Links page). I also discovered some new talent to add to the Mach 1 Audio family. In the future, you will be seeing some of the new products that will be created. We hope you are going to be as excited as we are about the new products. I will share more about them in a future newsletter. Thank you for being a member of our extended family. If you are in the Malibu area, please stop by "The Malibu Shaman - Malibu's Metaphysical Bookstore" at the Country Mart -- located at Cross Creek Road and Pacific Coast Highway. The store is owned by Scott Sutphen. He has a beautiful collection of crystals and stones, as well as many books, CDs and other metaphysical items. Many of the books and CDs are from the Dick and Tara Sutphen collection. We had the opportunity to meet Richard and Tara while they were in the Detroit area last October. They are wonderful, beautiful people and so is their family. Scott was a joy to talk to and he let me photograph one of the most beautiful crystal clusters I have ever seen. It weighs well over 150 pounds and is huge! The picture does not really show its size unfortunately. This crystal has several phantoms. The dark areas in the picture are the phantoms. The price tag on this beautiful piece is $10,000 not including shipping. The energy emanating from it is priceless. I could hardly stay away from it and asked if I could take pictures to include in the newsletter. The next photo is a close up of the higher of the two larger pieces of the cluster.
